Description

As a Process Improvement Analyst, you will have the keen ability to apply Six Sigma in reviewing a process holistically as it impacts the operation of a retail store and the organization at large. Be able to review, quantify, document the existing process and make measurable improvements which would result in simplification of the process, reduction of labor & material cost while improving overall productivity. Provide an end-to-end solution to improve sales, profitability and add value to the company.

Essential Functions

• In conjunction with the Director of Labor, conduct targeted process improvement initiatives to determine how these processes can be completed in an effective, efficient and cost saving manner.
• Design, develop and execute processes or projects and work with process owners or project team members throughout all phases of planning, implementation and control.
• Autonomously lead small to medium scale process improvement initiatives. This position is accountable for the quality and timely completion of each stage of the process improvement effort.
• Responsible for clarifying scope and ensuring process improvement effort maintains direction and fulfills expectations of sponsors, using charters and other project management tools.
• Additional job duties or responsibilities may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Disciplined, structured and logical approach to problem solving
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects successfully is required
• Proven record of delivery against deadlines is required
• Previous experience leading or assisting process change projects related to the implementation and use of the principles of Six Sigma/Process Improvement.
• Ability to learn and apply statistical analysis to complex business problems
• Bachelor level degree is required such as Industrial Engineer, master’s degree such as MBA preferred
• Lean and/or Six Sigma Green belt or Black belt certification by a nationally recognized board preferred
• Strong organization, time-management, prioritization, multi-tasking, independent-decision making, problem-solving, interpersonal, analytical, etc. skills.
• Works well under deadlines, self-starter, innovative, team-oriented, customer-focused, etc.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, department-specific software, tools, etc.
• Travel requirement 75%.
• At least 5 years of Store Process Improvement experience in a specialty retail environment, applying Six Sigma/Process Improvement to add value to an organization. Six Sigma Green/Black belt certified.
• Education requirement - Engineering/Business, Preferred degree: Industrial Engineering/MBA
