In this role you will be in a key position to the Inventory Finance team and responsible for Inventory Accounting & Reporting duties for the Monroe, NJ and Reno, NV Distribution Centers. This role will be required to ensure all operational inventory activity from the Distribution Centers Operational System, Knighted WMS, is properly accounted for in the Distribution Centers Financial System and Oracle EBS. The role requires strong working relationships with the DC Merchandise Control Group.

Essential Functions

•Manage reconciliation of the Oracle EBS inventory sub-ledger to WMS
•Manage and oversee the receipt verification and reconciliation process and performs audits as required.
•Responsible for identifying daily batch processing errors and tracking through resolution
•Responsible for managing, preparing the monthly inventory reconciliation reports and reconciliation of all inventory offset accounts.
•Review recommendations for financial adjustments to control accounts.
•Prepare manual journal entry documentation
•Responsible for the capture, documentation, monitoring and communication of process KPIs related to the reconciliation process and data integrity.
•Generate monthly reporting of actual results.
•Ensure the accurate tracking of open system and process improvement requests.
•Maintain a consolidated change request log and associated documentation. Ensures that any fast-track changes are appropriately managed
•Advise on savings calculations, business case development; reviews and assesses project business cases
•Maintain appropriate system codes and controls over inventory accounting
•Establish and maintain mechanisms to quantify and track business-value-delivered.

•Strong Excel and Access skills
•Knowledge of Oracle EBS and CPA, CMA is optional
•0-1 years of experience in a similar role or relevant work experience or internship
•Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics
•Strong written and oral communications skills and a strong attention to detail
•Possesses integrity and strong ethics
