Job Description :
The Human Resources Intern position offers the chance to gain exposure to many different areas of Human Resources while working in a fast-paced team environment. This paid internship will provide experience working on projects in a wide variety of HR related disciplines including Recruiting, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, HR Policies and Procedures, as well as assisting with employee events and activities. This internship will last approximately 3 - 6 months.

Essential Functions

• Answers calls to the HR Service Center, responding to inquires or taking detailed messages in order to minimize hold times.
• Assist the HR Department with various responsibilities to include data entry, maintaining and filing employee information, and performing basic customer service functions.


• Preferably a Junior or Senior in college, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources
• Must be proficient in MS office
• Must be a team player with ability to prioritize
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
• Some experience in an office environment preferred
• Ability to work up to 30 hours/week for approximately 3 - 6 months
• Must currently be able to perform duties out of our Westbury, NY office
