Description

Oversees all store support team functions within the Home Office Facilities Department. Responsible for all department functions pertaining to new store openings, closing store locations, and managing permanent sign inventory. This role serves as a liaison between the stores and cross-functional home office departments. Able to drive process improvements, identify efficiencies and effectively manage costs.

Essential Functions

• Manages the New Store opening process, including coordination with various department partners and vendors.
• Owns the closing store process, including communications internally, and system up-dates or close out. Coordinates with supporting departments and vendors, review lease for vacate requirements, and manage bidding for removal/cleanout procedures.
• Reviews and tracks all Store Support Department functions. Looks for efficient ways for the team to work on routine and new one off projects.
• Coordinates with various home office departments (e.g. industrial purchasing, merchandising, and café) on special projects.
• Responsible for all inventory (ordering, replenishment and shipping) of store signage.
• Final approval of all supply invoices after being reviewed and analyzed by coordinators.
• Meets with supply vendors bi-yearly to review current and future projects, and review vendor score card, service level, and issues.

Qualifications

• Certification in Project Management, strong organization and time-management skills, prior use of organizational tools such as Gant Chart or other project schedules.
• Works well under deadlines, self-starter, innovative, team-oriented, customer-focused, etc.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and ability to learn department-specific software.
• Travel requirement, domestic only, anticipated one work trip per quarter.
• At least 10 years of retail store support, facility or operations experience in a specialty retail environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Retail Operations, Retail Management, Operations Management, Facilities Management, and Engineering and Industrial Management.
