Description

We are looking for a passionate, data-driven marketer who believes in the power of personalization within marketing campaigns to deliver great results. The marketing automation specialist is an integral part of the marketing operations team, responsible for building and deploying campaigns for millions of customers each and every day, reporting directly to the associate manager, marketing automation.

Essential Functions

• Email Creation
o Build out 15-20 weekly and ad-hoc campaigns using PowerMail, B&N’s in-house email design tool
o HTML knowledge a plus
• Operations for Email, Push Notifications, and In-App Messaging
o Flawlessly own and execute the operations chain of command for weekly and ad-hoc campaigns
o Responsibilities include audience creation, campaign setup, proofing, scheduling, and monitoring deployments
• Cross-Department Requisition
o Manage product solicitations for upcoming digital and dual-channel promotions
o Maintain cross-department repositories and calendars
o Provide general support to improve team and program efficiencies
• Project Management
o Own JIRA management for the CRM Team
o Perform status checks with the team and prepare tickets for bi-weekly sprints

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email
• Experience using enterprise email service providers such as Epsilon, Adobe Campaign, SalesForce, etc.
• Experience with direct marketing, email marketing, and/or database marketing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience working in JIRA preferred
• Attention to detail and project management skills
• Ability to interface effectively with business owners
• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be flexible/adaptable
• Must be able to multitask and manage multiple campaigns at once
• At least two years of experience in marketing
• Bachelor’s degree
