The Analyst, Pricing and Analytics will help execute our pricing strategy across multiple product lines. This individual will report to the Manager, Pricing and Analytics and provide support with execution, testing, and analysis of the pricing strategy to ensure revenue and margin goals are achieved. He/she will also work closely with the Digital Merchandising, Digital Experience, and Finance teams.

Essential Functions

• Support continuing evolution of the overall e-commerce pricing strategy in response to business and competitive demands
• Manage assigned dynamic pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability
• Monitor pricing trends on a daily basis and create reports which highlight important trends as needed
• Perform financial modeling and profitability analysis, while evaluating ROI for all product lines and promotional initiatives
• Assist with pricing tests to arrive at price elasticity, cross price elasticity, competitive response etc. for different product categories, segments, micro-segments
• Analyze large sets of historical data to arrive at optimum segmentation for product catalog
• Maintain and update pricing policies, processes, and procedures
• Perform ad hoc analysis using business intelligence tools and proactively report emerging trends, areas to optimize business performance, reduce costs or increase sales


• Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for gathering, manipulating, and interpreting data and uncovering insights that drive business decisions
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to present complex data in a simple and easy-to-understand manner
• Solid interpersonal skills; able to build relationships with individuals in both cross-functional teams and IT group.
• Solid Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access skills
• Interest in e-commerce industry
• Hands-on pricing experience, especially with large SKU counts in retail, grocery or other related industries a plus
• Proficiency with SQL and business intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy a plus
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a pricing, financial analysis or business analysis role
• Experience with price optimization software a plus
