The Sr. Business Development Analyst will work cross-functionally as the NOOK liaison for all of our Digital Content marketing and merchandising needs.

Essential Functions

• Identifies opportunities for expansion and growth within marketing, merchandising, promotional, etc.
• Initiates growth in the digital content business by creating actionable plans from synthesized data.
• Partners internally with Operations & Technology teams to ensure optimal execution of programs and quick resolution of any roadblocks
• Develops relationships with third parties (vendors, publishers, retailers) to help improve digital content sales with new promotions and partnerships.
• Liaises between business and internal teams to translate contract requirements; ensures due dates are met; maintains internal documents and data; and follows-up on action items and changes.
• Maintains the Extended Protection Plan (EPP) program on all devices.
• Develops and grows the EPP program online and in our retail stores.
• Oversees the Reverse Logistics business, partnering with our outside vendors, our DC, and retail partners for selling refurbished devices.


• BA/BS Degree Required
• 4+ years’ experience in sales growth, interfacing with vendors and partners, and/or management of a product(s) and related items in a retail setting.
• Strong understanding of business acumen and processes
• Experience creating and tracking against workplans
• Experience creating functional scope documents and/or cross-team communications with technical and other resources is preferred
• Ability to manage many moving parts simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines is a must
• Ability to think ahead and raise risks/issues, as needed
• Strict attention to detail is a must
• Proactive, self-starter, and ability to perform tasks with limited supervision
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Interest in books a plus!
