The Human Resources Representative provides support to booksellers related to all areas covered by Human Resources policies and procedures, as well as Federal, State, and Local employment laws. The Representative responds to eligibility and enrollment inquiries about employee benefit programs, including but not limited to: medical, dental, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability and 401(k) plans.

Essential Functions

• Provide outstanding customer service and guidance to our booksellers regarding Benefit, Payroll and HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure accurate and timely payment of booksellers.
• Assist benefit administrators in health and welfare plan management and qualified plan administration.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of federal, state and local regulations as they pertain to employment practices.
• Assist with or prepare correspondence related to employment verifications, subpoenas, garnishments, unemployment claims and various other employment-related documents.
• Support the administration of our applicant tracking system, Talent Gateway, and call center tracking ServiceNow.
• Remain alert to calls in queue at all times, ensuring all calls are kept to a minimum hold time.
• Contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and foster a team environment.


• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Human Resources or a related field) and a minimum of (1) year in an office environment required
• Previous experience in a call center environment is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel and Word knowledge required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and handle a large volume of phone calls, with strong follow-through
• Ability to adapt to change and demonstrate support for Company initiatives
• Orientation toward customer service and developing positive resolutions to issues/concerns
• Good judgment and ethical practice
