Description

The Occupancy Staff Accountant assists in the daily operations and maintenance of the Lease Administration/Accounting System.

Essential Functions

• Maintain centralized information regarding company Equipment Leases, Fleet Leases, and all other non-store leases
• Ensure all new amendments, leases, options are accurately updated in the Lease Administration System, specifically in regards to accounting
• Ensure all new amendments, leases, options are accurately updated in department schedules and provide supporting documentation for audit purposes
• Prepare, maintain, and manage integral reports related to Occupancy Accounting
• Prepare audit documentation as it relates to the Lease Administration System
• Responsible for Account Reconciliations between Lease Administration System and Oracle
• Maintain various other accounting functions

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the accounting field with analysis experience required
• Proficient Excel skills required
• Knowledge of leases required
• Must be extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated, independent and proactive
